Am I the only one reminiscing on this 4th of July weekend?
This past weekend we attended a fabulous BBQ and took advantage of the pool, sun, good company and delicious rose wine. We thought we would share a little bit of our tips and tricks to organize the perfect BBQ at your house. For us, hosting means three essential things: delicious food, fabulous tableware and original hostess gifts.
1. The Food
Meats & vegetables are always part of a perfect BBQ. This summer, impress your guests with an original salad they will not expect. Our favorite dish this summer is a combination of sweet & salty: the Watermelon, Cucumber, Black Olive and Feta Salad. It is sweet, salty, cool, crunchy and full of herbs. This is just a stellar combination and will leave a lasting impression on all your guests.
2. The Tableware
Ditch the disposable cups and opt for The Drop It reusable tableware that is also resistant, dishwasher safe and BPA free. Furthermore, bring some color into your life! The big trend right not is pink and white reusable plastic cups! No one care to see what they are drinking, they just want to look fabulous doing so.
Table mats can also add a pop of color to your life. Nowadays, tablecloth is rarely used outdoors and we are going for easy to wash recyclable plastic table mats.
3. Hostess Gift
Instead of bringing the usual bottle of wine and wondering which cake to buy, be original and gift your host a present she will use and reuse: the Ice Bag Wine Duo. The Ice Bag Wine Duo is the perfect gift or picnic companion. You can bring it to the park, the beach or your balcony! Simply chill your champagne or wine inside the Ice Bag by adding cold water and ice cubes.
We hope you enjoyed our tips and tricks.
Wishing you a fab week!
